It would probably say something about insufficient timing chain durability, the decline of German engineering, and how ridiculous it is to be 30 years late for a recall at the dealership.

If only I had been born a year later, I would be a 560. When I was born, a 30 year old SL was a prized collectible. Now, a 30 year old SL is an old used car.
Still, it has more miles than most, so it lived a life. Some elbow grease might make it sparkle again, but the engine is a little tepid.
